When I was about ten years old, I bought a box of old books at an estate sale. I think I paid about 25cents for the whole box. For the first time, I read Zane Grey and fell in love with Westerns. One of the books was 'Girl from Montana' by Grace Livingstone Hill. I had those books for years but lost them in a move. So, I was thrilled to get this set on Kindle. It's like seeing old friends again. Zane Grey's portrayal of the West is sharply defined and Grace Livingstone Hill presents strong Christian faith and attitudes without being preachy. Love this set.

Good read
All the stories mostly described the beautiful mountains and sunset. I one has never been up there the beauty alone is worth seeing.
I probably would have enjoyed them more if I had read another book in between. I / am still sick in bed so I read and read.. M mother used to read Grace Livingston books to us when we were growing up. My mom would be 192 on the 8th.
Love Grace Livingston Hill. Never read Zane Greys books before but thoroughly enjoyed them. Loved all the letters written by the pioneer woman. I don't think many of today's women could have survived homesteading. Wonderful going back in time. Lee S
